2019 Week 38 (16-22 Septembre)

This is a cool picture even if I do say so myself.  The reflection in the sea of the small plane we flew from Suva to Nadi, Fiji.  It's about a 30 minute flight.

You can see how small it is.  From one side of the plane (President Guidi) to my side.  There is barely enough space to walk to our seat.

Small or not, there is always room to take the laptop out and do more work.

Nadi from above.

On our way to the Marriott Resort these horses were almost in the middle of the road.

The Marriott Resort in Fiji

View from our room

We always have snacks in the room for us.

Very nice room

Cool pool, with the sea in front.  We did not have time to go for a swim but I had to take a picture!  It would be nice to go back one day and look and act like the other tourists there.  We stood out in our Sunday best during the four days we were there.😁

Same pool, different angle.

Another pool with jet streams.

Beaches were nice also

The conference center where we met and the surroundings.

We learned many good lessons on helping the missionaries invite, teach, work with members, etc.
One important thing for me is to invite all to come and see, come and help and come and stay with Jesus Christ in His Church, preparing ourselves for His second coming.

There was a nice celebration for us Wednesday night with songs and dances.  The dancers were inviting  (you feel like you have no choice) people sitting in the front to come and join them.  Can you recognize Elder Stevenson there?

This is what grand-papa ate that night.  I should have taken a picture of my plate.  It looked more appetizing.😄

I was walking in the morning and grand-papa was running.  I took some pictures of the beautiful areas of the resort.

On our way to the airport by bus, I snapped a few shots of Nadi including a gorgeous Indu Temple.

We are back to the mission home.  Another beautiful corner of Paradise.  Our sweet senior sisters working in the Mission Office had a dinner they shared with us.  We are so blessed.  Girls, take that recipe, it was a great bean, beef and barley so up.  The 3 B's soup. 😋

And today, sister Lindsey, who made the soup, had dessert for us, Banana Pudding.  We are spoiled and we are loving it.

Mifala lavem yufala tuuuuuuumas!
