2020 Semaine 35 (24-30 aout)

It was a rainy busy week.

Grand-papa had interviews to conduct every day.  It is nice to be around the missionaries at the office.

Sometimes there is a lot of traffic.

It can be quite tempting to follow the invitation of signs off the road.

But soon after, I saw what the hold up was.  A police officer was stopping the many buses for a verification of drivers license.

We had some strong winds pushing the light down

We are thankful for the sunshine through it all as we spoke with grandsons for their birthday

Pictures of first day of school and cuteness came to brighten our days also.

The light was not the only thing that came down this week.

Our brave Jaden reassured us with one of his beautiful smiles.  He is still so  handsome and we are very happy he is okay!

Emma learning the ropes and experiencing the bumps and cuts that sometimes come with them.

Thankfully all is well.

We experience a lot of bumps on the road or enticing invitations to leave the road that will take us away from our sure destination.

We have been facing traffic on our missionary road that is sometimes frustrating.  We think some missionaries will finally return home then we are told it will not happen just yet.  A bump, some traffic.

I have found the words of our prophet to be true:
"Daily immersion in the word of God is crucial for spiritual survival, especially in these days of increasing upheaval.  As we feast on the words of Christ daily, the words of Christ will tell us how to respond to difficulties we never thought we would face."

I find truth and light in my daily scripture study.  So I can say with President Nelson and Nephi, the son of Helaman:
"it is not of myself that I know these things; but behold, I know that these things are true because the Lord God has made them known unto me, therefore I testify that they shall be." Helaman 7:29

Have a great week.  Don't let the bumps and traffic get you down.  There is always sunshine and the hand of the Lord around us if we choose to see them.
