Most important event this week.  Our sweet Audrée's birthday. We ended this week by chatting with her.  We are so proud of all our children and grandchildren.   We love them "gros comme le ciel" and we miss them so much.  I woke up this morning with a message from our Coralie who opened the door to memory lane for me. She sent me this letter I send her at least 10 years ago for a school project about how was school for her grand-maman when I was in second grade. After reading this letter again, I started remembering some stories to help us learn how to read.  I found online the book and some stories back then.  It was so fun to reminisce. Do you remember the March 13 entry? Tender mercy #8 Saturday morning we woke up to a miraculous news.  Go back and read it if you do not remember.  Here is Elder Kema being reunited with his long lost, almost destroyed suitcase. This picture will always remind me that the Lord is mindful of the details in our life. This week we received

This week I have declared war to the rats and bedbugs in the missionaries' apartments!!!  With the help of the office Elders and the Ezzy Kill Company.  My goal is that when we leave, the housing for our missionaries will be critter free. On Monday, it was one of our sisters' birthday.  That birthday cake was so good, they had some cake inside and out!                                            Tuesday was the follow up meeting with Elder and Sister Nattress.  We were so edified by the experiences the missionaries shared as they responded to the invitations to share their testimony of Jesus Christ and their favorite scriptures with those they met after the mission conference (12 March) until the follow up meeting (16 March).  What was so wonderful is that many were comforted by what the missionaries shared.  Most did not want to hear more right now, but all were blessed.   "Ye are the light of the world" and " Let your light so shine before men" the Lord s

If ambrosia is the food for gods, it has to taste like this smoothie I made today. Last week I made a mistake, calling the fruit below passion fruit.  It actually is guava.  I can't believe we did not find these before.  It smells heavenly and it tastes sooooo good. So I made a strawberry, guava, mango  (I added 3 figs that had been soaking in water to soften because I did not have enough mango) and almond milk (because I did not have coconut milk).  😋 so delicious!!! It was the perfect elixir to conclude a pretty wonderful week. I was a little apprehensive at the beginning of last week because of all that was planned:  - Second attempt to help the 4 sisters from Kiribati get to New Zealand then to Fiji to quarantine which included getting another COVID test with results early enough to obtain a letter of approval from the Fiji government before their departure. -Orientation of a new missionary arriving the same day the 4 sisters were scheduled to leave (check-in time is 5:00 am

First week of March in the Pacific saw 8.1 earthquake, tsunami and cyclone Niran.  We did not feel the earthquake. We did have an advisory for the tsunami and the sea was rough.  The cyclone brought a lot of rain and wind.  It went over New Caledonia.   All and all we are thankful we were all safe.  Cyclone Niran   Even the heavy rain did not stop them from cutting the grass and cleaning up after. The rain came inside and the wind made us discover some yummy passion fruits on the ground. In this humid climate, the bugs are big And the vegetation grows fast Speaking of growing, the lesson I want to share this week was inspired by you, our talented grandchildren, who are also growing fast. "As we progress, we become more complete, finished, and fully developed.  It is through this lens that lives should be lived, communications considered, and relationships fostered.  Truly, there is no other way to heal the wounds of broken relationships or of a fractured society than for each of u
